What I Want You to Know:
I think it's important to know your HIV status so that you can take action earlier; but the most important reason to know your status is so that you are able to protect others.

Why I think it's important to challenge HIV/AIDS stereotypes:
I feel a lot of people, including myself, have many fears and assumptions about HIV/AIDS. It's important to raise awareness about HIV and break stereotypes to lay these fears to rest. We have to let people know that HIV happens to people just like us. It's also important to remind our generation that we are lucky to have medicine that can help those with HIV live longer. HIV is still a big deal, but having it is no longer a death sentence - people with HIV can still live long, healthy lives.

How I contribute to the fight against HIV:
PROTECTION. I also ask my partners their HIV status before engaging in sexual activity with them.
