When I Found Out:
December 18, 1993. I have been rejected by lovers and friends, but ultimately I don’t really get treated differently. We all have our thing.
How I was infected:
Through unprotected sex. Protect yourself and honor your body. HIV does not discriminate.
The biggest challenge I deal with living with HIV:
Dating.
What I think is the biggest difference between people's perceptions and the reality of living with HIV:
Poz people can live healthy "normal" lives.
Who I thought HIV affected before I learned I was positive:
Anyone but me could be infected. I now know that it can infect anyone and affect everyone.
