When I Found Out:
I don't remember. Yes, I have HIV, but HIV does not run my life.

How I was infected:
I got HIV from a contaminated needle in Romania. They didn't have enough money for needles so they went from kid to kid sticking them with the same needle.

The biggest challenge I deal with living with HIV:
The biggest problem is people's ignorance and inability to understand it. I think a lot of the reasons people don't understand it is because all the movies that say people living with HIV are going to die. A lot of people also seem to be more cautious of me. They make sure that I am ok more than them. I appreciate it, but sometimes I feel that they don't see me as a normal human that can get sick.
